The man is just an amazing coach. We started sessions about a week ago when I was plateauing around Rank 5. Through the use of video replays and active sessions he showed me the correct way to play the game. Misplays aren't forgiven at Rank 5+. Over the course of a few sessions I started to see the correct lines of play, learnt about the importance of minion positioning for maximum value, and how to anticipate what my opponent is going to do.

These improvements were not only noticeable by me, but my opponents as well; including one popular streamer, who accused me of sniping him after I won. No sniperino, but watching the streamer’s reaction in the VOD was awesome.

Periphetes teaches you what the optimal plays are. Watching him in action is scary, it's like watching someone squeeze every last drop of blood out of a stone. Yeah, seriously impressive.

  • I offer what I call a "trial hour". What this means is we can do one hour and you don't have to pay first. After an hour, you will need to decide to either pay for the hour, or you can take a break and come back later, owing nothing if you don't go past that hour. Once you decide to continue, then you'll need to pay the fee for that first hour.  Continuation can be done immediately in the same session.

For lower ranked players, such as rank 15 or worse, I usually look at decklist first, and then do proactive spectating, breaking down every play and why we do it. The explanations are extremely detailed and help you to understand the deeper meaning behind the game.

I got coaching from periphetes as I tried to make my first legend run due to a poorly considered bet that I took with some friends. I was at rank 7-8:ish with a barely 50%+ win rate and could not keep up with the big boys at rank 5+ as I got pushed down constantly as soon as I hit 5 or so. After a week of coaching with this fine gentleman I've learned A LOT and also hit legend just now. I tried three different coaches during this whole legend climb debacle and I can hands down say that periphetes was at least ten times better than the other two, combined. We did both game review and live coaching of different kinds. Good stuff!

I've been playing HS since the beginning, and reaching Rank 5 is not too hard for me. But I never got to Legend rank. My best rank was 2. I thought a little coaching could help. I booked four hours with Periphetes, and it was well worth the money. He is very thorough and analytical, with great insights on both micro and macro aspects of HS. Also he is really involved in what he does. He is not just whispering you the best play, he is working hard for you to improve in the long run.

I've always been casualstone (for almost the 2 years I've been playing), at least obtaining rank 5 for the reward each season. This season I decided I was gonna make the push to legendary. I started my journey from rank 5 with pirate warrior and made it to rank 3 before hitting a wall. After a few days of bouncing back and forth from rank 5-3, I decided I needed a little help. I stumbled upon Periphetes here in the coaching reddit and am so glad I did. I booked 4 hours of coaching with him and the results speak for themselves. He helped me from rank 3 to rank 1 before I winstreaked to legendary. For $6 an hour you aren't going to find a better individual to teach you how to play the game.
